All About Home Recording – The First Post

Hi, my name is Corey Stewart and I’m a Singer/Songwriter, Musician, Producer and Blogger from Australia and for me, everything that I do requires my output to be recorded, mixed and mastered in a relaxed and creative recording studio environment.

I created All About Home Recording to help all songwriters and recording artists anywhere, at any level, expand on what home recording knowledge they already have or, those who are kicking off their music careers start off their home recording journey in a more positive and informed direction.

All About Home Recording is also about me taking what I’ve learnt from my experiences and condensing it into one site. I feel it’s really important that songwriters and musicians have the best audio recording information at their fingertips.

It is my goal is to have All About Home Recording become one of the most trusted sources of home recording studio information on the web.

Not so long ago, the concept of recording my music through a home recording setup was a scary proposition for me and because of my fear, I was at the mercy of professional recording studios, their timetables and pricing schedules and when I did record, I felt disconnected from the whole process.

I wanted to be able to record my music when I wanted and how I wanted while at the same time being in control with the whole creation, recording and marketing processes. My journey towards creative self sufficiency had begun.

This site can only develop in the long term with direct input from its readers (that means YOU), so if now or in the future, there are any questions that you may have about recording your music at home, or anything else for that matter, just let me know and I will do my very best to answer you.

This is an exciting time to be part of the music industry and I wish you all well on your journey towards a sustainable recording music career, no matter where it takes you.

Let’s take this first step together… RIGHT NOW!
